We’re so happy you’re here! At The Honey and the Bee you & your home are at the center of all that we do. Each and every piece that we create is hand selected with you in mind.

Our goal is to help you create a comfortable home, filled with things you love, and pieces that make your house truly a home. After all, they say that your home is a collection and expression of all that makes you, well, you.

Each wood piece we create, weather a tray, step stool, sign or any other piece of woodwork will show distinct characteristics that are true to natural wood, giving each item it’s own unique look.

You could call our style, “farmhouse”, or “Vintage”, or even “Shabby Chic”. Possibly a nice mix of several different styles. The great thing about the type of decor we provide, you can utilize in most rooms or decorum.

So who are we?

We are Ashley and Mike Sullivan. We are happily married and live in Alpharetta, Georgia. I (Ashley) grew up in Milton, Georgia and Mike is from Boardman, Ohio. We have two wonderful children, Troy, 9 and Kinsley, 3. We started this company in 2018 for a couple of reasons. I absolutely love painting and finding beauty in something that may look ordinary at best to most.

Since discovering the “Farmhouse” style a couple of years ago, I have always loved the old vintage looking farm items and have since discovered that you can freshen items up with certain colors, stains and fabrics.

My husband Mike and I spend time on every piece. It is something we enjoy doing together and my favorite part of it all is knowing that the person the item was created for absolutely loves it!
